225BAR was founded by Marcel Ravonne Jennings, a celebrated performer with almost a decade in hospitality and accolades as New England’s top drag star. With seven titles under his belt, Marcel created 225BAR to be more than a bar—it’s a home for everyone seeking electric nightlife and vibrant expression.
As a proudly Black- and LGBTQ+-owned establishment in Western Massachusetts, 225BAR builds community by embracing diversity, creativity, and authenticity.
